4/21 - NOTES OF LAST MEETING – November 2020 were signed as a true copy, to become minutes. Proposed Coun Carrott seconded Coun Buttery. December 2020 Proposed Coun Bateson seconded Coun Kelly.
5/21 - TO RECEIVE UPDATE FROM CLERK.
Contacted Highways regarding village sign.
Firths Landscape are to cut back hedges in cemetery and clear leaves in School Lane near park.
Update from KK re VL - sent a reply to all information with details of requests and asking if they would like to meet in the village to advise of what jobs could be included, Coun Bateson available to join meet. Although next Community Liaison not arranged asked if any further questions should come from the Parish Council
6/21 - SUBSTATION UPDATE
Agreed to remove from Agenda as works complete.
7/21 - ALLOTMENT UPDATE
Coun Carrott commented shrubs being grown on end allotment which at present do not cause a problem but may in future if allowed to grow significantly.
8/21 - FINANCE REPORT
Approve Precept for 2021/2022. After detailed discussions and confusion over two payments made for the village signs, one to pay for signs and one to return grant monies to the Community Foundation. Original grant received during financial year 2019-2020.
With potential monies required for tree works in the village and to keep the contingency healthier than it had previously fallen to it was proposed Coun Carrott and seconded Coun Bateson to increase precept by 2.2%, the current rate of inflation, to £25550.
It was advised that no donation had been received towards the playing field from the Bicker Preparatory School.

9/21 - PLANNING
Nothing received this month
10/21 - MEMBERS REPORTS –
Coun Carrott –Bushes in cemetery require cutting back from pathway.
Request if fencing to right hand boundary of cemetery could be stained. Erected a few years now and requires attention.
Boards in village, which are responsibility of PC. Survey carried out 2019 by LCC Highways. Clerk to forward report.
Coun Bateson – problem with trees in village, regularly receiving comments/complaints from residents. Clerk confirmed has been a constant problem with Highway and Black Sluice not claiming responsibility.
Request for additional grit bins in the village. Red Lion Street High Street near Wisteria Cottage dangerous in the frost. Camber of the road is the cause.
Standing water on Mill Lane again. Reported but Coun Brookes will take up again with Highways. There used to be a flood sign but it has been removed.
Still problems with dog fouling. Request visit from dog warden if still on duty at this time.
