25/22 – TO RECEIVE UPDATES ON JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS
Chair posted on Facebook and received one response from a member of a group that had everything in hand and only requesting a donation from PC for food and decorations. Disappointing as PC wanted to bring together groups for a joint event. Didn’t feel it appropriate to just contribute to a pot but preferred having a lasting memorial. Agreed clerk to obtain quotations for a jubilee memorial bench to be sited in the park. Clerk to submit application to BBC for up to £500 for bunting for the village.

Update from Mrs Webster that renovated road signs have been completed and returned. Back Lane/Fore Lane bridge once again broken badly. Perhaps time for a different approach due to the number of times it is demolished by lorries and large farm machinery. Clerk to speak with Richard Waters.
